Use this sample when an AI client needs durable context about how a workspace is structured before it performs recurring analysis.

# Financial context pack

1. Confirm the intended tenant, audience, statement types, and whether the pack is group-wide or limited to a named workflow.
2. Call `get_group_accounting_settings` and `list_currencies`.
3. Call `list_statement_layouts` and identify the defaults used for P&L, balance sheet, Functional P&L, and cash flow.
4. Use `search_statement_layout_tree` for material sections and potentially ambiguous line items. Do not dump every layout node unless the user requests a complete reference.
5. Call `list_group_accounts`, `list_group_dimensions`, and `list_group_dimension_items` with bounded pages and relevant searches.
6. Organize the result into reporting scope, currencies, layouts, important row definitions, account conventions, dimensions, and unresolved questions.
7. Ask a finance owner to review the pack before saving it as persistent AI instructions.

## Rules

- Do not include credentials, tokens, personal data, transaction rows, or full raw tool responses.
- Do not infer group logic or account meaning from a code alone.
- Distinguish configured facts from team-specific interpretations and policies.
- Record stable Control identifiers alongside human-readable names when useful.
- Add an `as of` timestamp and refresh the pack after material layout, mapping, dimension, or currency changes.
- A context pack guides analysis; it does not override live Control data or permissions.

## Output

Return a concise Markdown document with a review checklist and an explicit section for assumptions or unresolved definitions.

Try it

Build a context pack for our default P&L and balance sheet, including the main account groups and department dimension.

Explain how revenue and personnel costs are composed in the default P&L, with Control links where available.
